It’s celebration time! 30 years and 800 releases later, Om Records presents single 7 from the forthcoming Om Records–30 Years LP featuring new music from the mighty Om family. Lucky #7 comes from SF’s 40 Thieves crew. Two mixes, the original which brings in a bubbling bassline over funk riffs complete with disco elements and the bonus mix from Payfone, the London/Barcelona duo that ups the original to an even heavier dance floor mix. True story in Om Records history, Corey from 40 Thieves had an apartment above Tweekin’ Records on Haight Street and introduced Chris Smith to Steve Grey and Om Records was founded shortly thereafter.
