Myone, Myth and Symbolyc One (S1) are Strange Fruit Project (SFP). Three emcees who continue to set trends as not your typical southern hip-hop group, all hail from Waco, Texas.

SFP is releasing their first group project since their critically acclaimed 2006 LP on Om Hip-Hop / Spilt Milk, ‘The Healing,’ which was nothing short of a hip-hop classic. The group is back with a new EP coined M.A.S.K., Making Art Sound Kool. M.A.S.K. is a free downloadable project which consists of production from Grammy nominated producer, Ninth Wonder, as well as classic production from producers S1, Picnic and newcomer Caleb, all based in Dallas.

Highlights of M.A.S.K. include “Home” featuring Tre of the southern- based hip-hop group Mojoe. Other EP bangers include “Crash”, and “Fresh for Life” featuring songstress Thesis. M.A.S.K. is a prelude to the forthcoming full- length LP from SFP, which will be released in spring of 2010.
