Om Records announces Summer Sessions 2 – Mixed by long time Om family members DJ Heather and Onionz – coming this July. Following the success of the first volume of the series mixed by Groove Junkies, Chuck Love and DJ Fluid, Summer Sessions 2 aims to keep the good time vibes of dancing in the sunshine going, with the finest in house music as only this time of year can bring. But you don’t need to live in a tropical surrounding to feel this album, an iPod and a stroll through the neighborhood, windows down in the car, or a simple boom box on the front porch will do just fine!

MORE ON DJ HEATHER: A pioneering veteran of the Chicago DJ scene, Heather has done it all. As a member of the first all female DJ collective Super Jane (w/ Om label mate Colette), a label founder and artist on her own Black Cherry Recordings imprint, a critically acclaimed Fabric resident DJ, a 2007 Coachella Music Festival Performer, and an artist featured in the hugely successful “House of Om” series on Om and more, DJ Heather proves that a woman’s work is never done!
