Fresh from the streets of Brooklyn, NY – US house legend Onionz is back on the scene and about to make some noise with his debut Om single: “Woman of the Sun”. Broken over two separate 12" packages, “Woman of the Sun” features the talents of ragga vocalist El Feco (Solomonic Sound) and a complete lineup of international remixers in various house and techno sub-genres. Here on part 1, we start off with Onionz original version.. a big room electro tinged number, brilliantly featuring the full vocal and lots of bells and whistles to drive the dancefloor into a frenzy! Up next, Tech-house maestro Jamie Anderson (Artform/NRK) provides a storming big-room epic mix. Incredible! Flip over for the B-Side complements.. first up from SoCal’s Hipp-e. His stripped-out mix (as featured on Om:Miami 2007) takes the “Woman of the Sun” into deep early morning territory. Moody, minimal, deep, techy house for the late night crowds. And finally, newbies Idiotbox provide a refreshing synthy deep techno mix that is sure to catch the ears of the more eclectic DJs and listeners. All in all this is one 12" you don’t want to miss! But that’s not all – stay tuned for Part 2 of this release, with additional remixes from Francois Dubois, Jake Childs, Magik Johnson and Bryan Zentz!
