One of the most sought after vocal samples ever gets a new make over from South African DJ / Producer Troydon.
Om is very excited to have this South African joining our fine roster of artists. Quite simply, Troydon has released some of the most in–demand underground house tracks of these past couple years.. and we´ve finally managed to snag a couple hot ones for the Om catalog. The "Learn to Love" EP features a vocal sample that Mood II Swing originally introduced to the house world many years ago, and has been featured in Mark Farina´s DJ sets for just as long.. which is part of the reason this project was so interesting to us. Nostalgia? Yes, we love it. Troydon also provides two additional original songs, and we´ve even got a Chuck Love remix of the title track for you. Underground heads, better get on this quick! A1: "Learn To Love" original version. The deep, jackin, underground bump, and energetic builds make this track an absolute party rocker. Nuff said. A2: "How I Feel" features a filtered soundscape, funky bassline, guitar and horns.. a great party jam in its own right. On side B, Chuck Love takes things a bit deeper, going almost disco. Being the musical genius that he is, Chuck cuts up the vocal samples and drops them over top of his incredible all–original music bed. In one word: Masterpiece. As if all that wasn´t enough, in the B2 spot we´ve got one more Troydon original, "It´s Alright." A little more abstract than the other two songs, "It´s Alright" is yet another house rocker.. with lots of sound effects and percussion loops to drive a dancefloor to the brink of exploding! Put this directly into your bag right now.
