"Shake Me, Break Me, Wear Me Down!" Straight off the Land Shark (aka Lance DeSardi) album we bring you this new sacrificial offering in the form of the first single which throws you down into the darkest corners of the Shark’s heavily stretched imagination. The raw drum patterns and grittiest of electro basslines back up nasty distorted vocals hinting at the depths of his demented reality. The vocal performance, although unique to the artist’s style, keeps great company with the likes of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, She Wants Revenge, Bauhaus or Joy Division. Remix duties come courtesy of French electro producer Sweetlight, who has releases on Trevor Jackson’s Output Recordings and David Duriez’ imprint Freak N’ Chic. Sweetlights´ main mix is a straight ahead vocal version slicking things up for the dance floor or radio while the dub takes you in deep for the late night. The original version we have described but hit the B–side for the Land Shark dub for a funkier driving instrumental mission. Keep your hands on the wheel for this one though as there are plenty of sharp turns and curves leading you through the dark and shaky night!
