Here is more in her own words.
After I heard about the tragedy in Japan, especially for those in Sendai (home of my stepmother’s family), fans and friends, it seemed only natural that I contribute something in someway to help. So with that being said, I am releasing ‘Wings of Faith’ and dedicating it to those affected by this horrible event. The song is a firm reminder for those who are struggling, that by having faith we can overcome all obstacles. All monies generated by the release of this song will go to Red Cross to help those who are in need. I thank you all for coming together at this time of crisis to aid our brothers and sisters. Your support for our friends, my family and those who are suffering is the first step. We must constantly make it our goal to extend help for those who are in need. God bless you all.

Oooooh, OM Creative’s getting ICECOLD in the OHLEVEN! We got the call from high atop the Rockies that Coors Light was looking for musical refreshment so we put on our thinking caps, and came up with this! We took three DJ’s, one being the man who’s been here since the beginning, Mr. J-Boogie and offered them up the entire Om Hip Hop catalog (past present and future, 16+ years worth) to take their cuts on remixing classics with the songs of today! The results came out DOPE, so we combined all three mixes in this slick online listening lounge. To hear all the mixes and reminisce with some classic Om with some you may have never heard move your mouse over and click HERE!

Underworld fans rejoice! “Barking” is now available on 180 gram, gatefold jacket vinyl. The US version features all the tracks from the new album and is limited to only 1000 units available here in the states.
‘Come Into The Light’, is a solid, retro-futuristic, uplifting and fresh banger featuring Roberto. Q. Ingram on vocals, a charismatic artist born and raised in L.A. who nowadays, enjoys a privileged spot on the European electronic scene thanks to his collaborations with American & German-based labels such as Black Nation, Exun or Equator.
On remix duty, Tokyo Black Star, deliver a rougher version of the track all the while respecting the original vibe.
In “Electric Love”— the video for U.K. electronic pop act DIRTY VEGAS’ new single which makes its premiere today, Tuesday, January 11 on NYLONMAG.COM—actress Jena Malone (The Soloist, Into The Wild, Donnie Darko) is seen as she has never been seen before. Written and produced by photographer James Gooding (www.jamesgooding.com) the “Electric Love” video serves as his directorial debut as well as the first visual element from DIRTY VEGAS’ new album—also titled ELECTRIC LOVE—due out April 26 on OM Records. It is also the first of two videos with Jena that will run concurrently over one larger narrative.
Says Jena Malone, “I became involved with the ‘Electric Love’ video through my good friend James Gooding who is an amazing photographer I had collaborated with on a few photo projects. He told me he was directing a music video for the first time and if I’d like to be a part of it; I pretty much said yes without even knowing what it was because I think he has such an amazing eye and I was excited to work with him as a director. I heard the song and thought it was fun and I basically flew to Alabama (where the video was shot) three weeks later.
“James wanted to know if I knew how to pole dance and I told him he was in luck; I just finished working on a film called Sucker Punch, due in the theaters this March and I had to learn a little pole dancing for that,” she adds. “But pole dancing in a dive bar in Alabama with a real audience of men was something I was NOT prepared for! Though I trusted James and I think it turned out really well. I love this video—and how it tells a story beyond the song, or brings the story of the song to a whole new level. It was weird being ‘the pretty girl’ in the music video though!!! That was definitely a first!”
Hot off the heels of numerous sold out shows for their “Secret House Party Tour”, People Under the Stairs are excited to release their new single “Beer”. The release features the original, a re-edit previously released through Colt 45 as well as the brand new track “Down in LA”. The single is available on iTunes for the low low price of $2.99. Check it out here.
