Now this is hilarious. My man Thes One kicked it with Bob Barker and won himself a new furniture set.

My man Keelay just forwarded this to me. Apparently Keelay & Zaire’s ‘Alright With Me’ featuring Phonte and D Minor is getting play in the dance studio. Check out the routine below…

It’s Friday one again in San Francisco and the fog is barely burning off. This weekend marks a special one in the city. Besides my man ROB G djing and wearing a pink dress on the LGBT float this Sunday for the gay pride celebration, the Oakland A’s are about to beat down the Giants again to leave Barry Zito and company crying. It feel’s good to be green and gold. Speaking of green, San Francisco is most likely to name a newly built sewage and water treatment plant after the <A HREF=http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/06/25/america/bush.php “> George ’I’m still president’ Bush. Sorry GW, you’ve been leaving such a bad taste in our mouth we had to do it. I think we should jump the gun with that old fossil McCain and starting naming retirement homes after him. And back to old fossils, check out this enlightening article on how vinyl is made at the ”>United Record Pressing Plant in Nashville, one of the oldest and most renown still in existence.

Yes folks… its exactly what it sounds like. A phone charger that powers your phone with kinetic energy of your dance moves. Its a prototype for now that is being tested at the Glastonbury festival this weekend. Strap it to your arm and get your dance on!!

Unfortunately I wasn’t at the DMF this year, but there were over 80,000 of you who were! This number far surpassed the goal of 60,000 and exceeded last years numbers by a huge amount.

Another record was broken this year as well – with the amount of recycling that was accounted for. The recycling program that was instituted collected more than 3,000 pounds of recyclables

The festival had approximately 10 recycling tents, staffed with volunteers that collected cans, bottles, and paper. Great Lakes Recycling, offering single stream capabilities, stored and processed all the recyclable materials, and once separated, the recyclables were transferred to a single location for further processing. Way to go everyone – ANYTHING counts.
