Check out the new video from UNKLE featuring the Pointmen Robot featured in the art from Psyence Fiction and Never Never Land. The video was created by animatronics designer and director at Streetlight Films UK, John Nolan. Nolan’s resume includes Clash of the Titans, Hellboy 2, and Where The Wild Things Are. Enjoy!
Check out the brand new music video from one of our new favorite vocalist, Dede. The Brooklyn based artist has a new album coming out in 2011. This track was produced by Tim K. of Home & Garden. The video does a real good job of perfectly reflecting the nouvelle-pop sound of the track. Think Serge Gainsbourg meets Allison Goldfrapp. Enjoy!

It’s another installment from Zion I’sAmp Live delivering a definite dose of electric funk. Coming from a history of defying all boundaries when it comes to the contemporary sounds of music, this video is evidence that the mission lives on.
Prepare yourself as Amp Live plays the role of a electro-magnetic maestro as he guides you through an electric fairytale of injected images of breaking dancing, ninjas, & chickens (that’s right I said it). This video takes you on a muscle bond journey of beats that even I have a problem NOT moving too. Damn it, for being so catchy! ‘Chick Pop’ was recently featured on MTV’s Buried Life. You can get the track off of Amp Live’s recent solo album, “Murder At The Discotech”.
We dug through our video archives to find this rare footage filmed in 1996 featuring the Fat Beats crew (including owner, Joe Abajian along with Beat Junkie’s J Rocc, Babu, and Melo-D). The video was filmed by OM/Deep Concentration’s CK Smart and someone by the name of Cut Chemist.
This past weekend, Fat Beats LA and NYC closed their retail locations. This is our tribute to all the staff, DJs, buyers, collectors, and entire Fat Beats family! Thanks for supporting Om since the early days of Om / Deep Concentration!
