We’re happy to finally bring you the new series in the Om Apparel line featuring graphics from urban street artist, Sam Flores. We’ve taken Sam’s art and applied it to garments like it has never been done before. The graphics are almost burned into the garments. The end result is a fitted, vintage-feel, high end, and light garment. All pieces in the line come with a tag that allows you to download a free music from Om. Full look book will be posted later this week.

The Leak…..You will be able to pick up the line at select fine retailers in 2010. Because there are those of you looking for unique and limited edition items for the holiday season, we’re leaking a small limited amount of units exclusively at the Om-records.com/store, just in time for the holidays.

One of our favorite Japanese imports, retailer Uniqlo, is about to set up shop in Paris’s infamous retailer, colette (no relation to our Colette). The temporary pop up shop runs from August through September.

Uniqlo is a Japanese retailer specializing metropolitan urban city wear and hip design heavy packaging. If you are ever in New York, drop by their NYC location. They also take the prize for having the most crazily confusing and possibly longest site on the web. The NYC location has been a long supporter of Om. They also have perhaps some of the most unique and hilarious marketing campaigns.

Visit www.uniqlo.com to check out possibly the most content heavy, longest website, and find out more about the Uniqlo x Colette pop up store.

There has been a lot of recent talks about bikes here at Om with a few staffers recently acquiring brand new bikes. I, on the other hand, don’t own a bike. If I ever did, it would be this bike.

Teague has come up with a new concept bike called Pulse. The sophisticatedly designed bike comes with LED turn signals, a rechargeable pack, and forward thinking design.

Click here for a detailed look at the bike.

It’s pretty obvious we love graffiti and street art here at Om, but let’s face it. It’s not exactly green to use spray paint. For those of you with a green thumb or if you just appreciate cool gadgets, check out the halo. The halo is a handy light-writing tool, preserving the techniques and gestures that graffiti artists use with spray cans. It is possible to change the color and the brightness of the led to change the graffiti’s styles. If the light doesn’t have enough battery, users simply have to shake it to have energy again. Pretty neat stuff!
