Om: Hip Hop and The Sole Vibe present the Ridin High EP from Keelay and Zaire’s forthcoming album Ridin’ High. With the A side, Alright With Me, The Sole Vibe producers craft the perfect summer soundscape for vocalist, D Minor (Wax Reform) to croon and for Phonte of Little Brother to drop his sixteen. Whether it be hip hop or soul radio, this track is guaranteed to gain support from tastemakers and radio djs worldwide. The remix features The Sole Vibe’s other beatsmith, J. Fish weaving his own interpretation of the funky track produced by his partners.
On The B side, Cali to NY is a straight forward boom bap track completely composed by the duo featuring the vocals of Rasco and Planet Asia of Cali Agents and Hassaan Mackey with The Sole Vibe’s Slo Mo on the hook and scratches by Jony Fraze. J. Fish reappears offering his own guitar and synth laden version of the song sure to knock on both coasts.

Jay-Z continues to make waves in the fashion industry, as the mogul announced that he has acquired the Artful Dodger clothing brand. The mogul has formed a new company Scion LLC, a joint venture with Iconix and acquired the Art Dodger clothing brand for $15 million dollars in cash today (November 8). Artful Dodger is a high end apparel brand sold in boutiques and specialty stores in the United States and the United Kingdom. Artful Dodger’s founder Scott Langston will stay on as a creative designer. “Artful Dodger is an incredible brand with a lot of room for growth – Scott Langton is a visionary designer,” Jay-Z said. “They represent what’s next and new in fashion and we are glad to have both the brand and Scott as a part of our family. Artful Dodger represents the first of many acquisitions that will begin to shape our joint venture with Iconix.”
