Known for his consistently-smoldering dancefloor romancers, Ian Pooley has brought us yet another gem with “Know What’s Up.” A classic R&B vocal rolls on top of a groovy bassline, while layers of uptempo claps and zipping synths give this track some serious energy. The Barbena remix is slower and stripped-down: the vocals have been tweaked and texturized, and spacey synths lend dramatic stabs to a simplified bassline.
