Remixing a track from such veteran producers as Underworld is no easy task. But when we asked Bay Area native and Dirty Bird producer Christian Martin, he jumped at the chance. Martin takes the big room sounds of the hit single ‘Always Loved a Film’ and turns up the bassline and dubs out the vocals making a highly infectious house banger. Check out the love on XLR8R !

Have a listen below. Look out for a download link coming soon.

Even though Hercules and the Love Affair have not released an album since their debut, front man Andy Butler has not been quiet on the scene by any means. He has been collaborating with Jason Kendig of local DJ collective, Honey Soundsystem as well as starting his own label, MR. INTL.

The debut on that label carries the same name, MR. INTL, and consists of Butler and fellow Herculean, Kim Ann Foxman. The first single ‘Creature/What You Need’ will be released this November 1st and will feature remixes from Faze Action as well as James Curd (Greenskeepers). Have a listen below!
