Goin’ out to all the weekend lovers out there. Took my favorite PillowTalk slow jam and bumped up the BPMs for the dancefloor. Threw on some Moombah drums, and voila! Happy Valentine’s Day y’all. Love the one, (or two or three) you’re with.

Here’s a final peek at the entries from the Om Records x Juno Download remix competition and we have some good ones for you today. ‘Everybody’ by Miguel Migs featuring the ever fresh vocals of Evelyn “Champagne” King gets a rub down from three similar but distinct house producers, all of which would be in my download folder if they were up for grabs. The last remixes before the announcement of the winners on Friday are:

Synthetic Junkie (Ireland)

Set Mo (Australia) — my personal favourite

Oliver Bach (Germany)

Results of the competition will be announced on Friday, Feb 10. Enjoy the remixes of all four Om tracks from this week and last!

Last week, a handful of contestant entries from the Om Records x Juno Download remix competition were revealed as I announced my top picks for Body Language’s ‘Falling Out’ and the Wagon Cookin’ ‘No Bossy Girl’ jam. Today I’ve selected my favorite remix of ‘Go To Work’ by J Boogie’s Dubtronic Science featuring The Pimps of Joytime.

This kinky rub comes from Lisbon’s Jersey-born Mikie Wilde, and apparently it’s for the people. So here it is, in all of it’s Portugese dance & groove glory.

Check back tomorrow, I’ll be posting a couple great remixes of Miguel Migs & Evelyn Champagne King’s ‘Everybody’. And don’t forget, the results of the remix competition will be announced this Friday!

Back as promised! Today I’m rounding up my favorite remixes of Wagon Cookin’s flaming hot “No Bossy Girl” that were entered for the Om Records x Juno Download remix competition . Without further ado, here are my top choices:

Putting the best up front. This first remix comes courtesy of Swiss producer (and Pole Position Recordings stalwort) Matt Prehn. Great quirky house vibes here.

This next one is certainly a curveball, but one that I enjoyed through and through! UK Bass twist for No Bossy Girl from Umami out of Leeds UK.

Final fave for today is a deep house entry from SoundWhorez. Darker vibes from this mysterious UK artist group makes for assured dance-floor fun, especially in the dead of winter!

On Monday I will return with my top picks from the remix entries for Miguel Migs feat. Evelyn Champagne King – Everybody. Don’t forget that the winners will be announced a week from today!

Hey all, Charlie the Marketing Assistant here. In anticipation of Body Language’s selection for the ‘Falling Out’ Om Records x Juno Download remix competition , I’ve compiled a couple of the entries that I enjoy. There’s no telling whether any of these remixes will be chosen as the winner by Body Language themselves, but I feel like these couple have a fighting chance! So here we go:

First up we have an entry from Brazilian producer Dake. The plucked bassline and rolling hi-hats make this a disco dancefloor killer, good stuff Dake!

Next is the “deep’n’curly” rework from Denmark’s Pete Oak. Solid deep house re-imagination of Falling Out, super sunny vibes.

Last choice of mine comes from Orbz (Daniel Horner) out of Chester, UK. Techy remix, well produced and big party potential! Big ups Daniel, enjoying your tune.

That’s all for now folks, stay tuned as tomorrow I’ll post my favorites from the Wagon Cookin’ contest. Early next week I’ll bring you the best of the Miguel Migs and J-Boogie remix entries, and by next Friday the official winner of the Om Records x Juno Download competition will be announced!
