Dave Kinsey is one of the street / urban art greats. He has a unique ability to capture the rawness of human emotions. Using a mixture of mediums Kinsey is able to create multilayed, textured environments easily likened to the complexities of contemporary life. Founder of the BLK/MRKT Gallery, Kinsey’s art is featured in galleries all around the world. Many pieces exist here on streets here in San Francisco.

Kinsey is another artist with ties to Om. In the early days, he was commissioned to produce the cover art for hip hop series Deep Concentration. These hard to find piece of vinyl has even been featured in gallery showings.

Om Records & Child's Play | SXSW Take Over

Om Records and the newly formed Child’s Play imprint are taking Austin – SXSW by storm this year with several dates including a show case of their own. Amp Live, one half of Zion I, is releasing a full length project on Child’s Play/Om Records this Fall that features Trackademicks, Mikah9, Goapele, Yak Ballz and some very special guests to be revealed. Look out for the first single to be released digitally on April 14th. Also, our very own J-Boogie is heading out to Texas to support his latest release ‘Soul Vibrations’ and his upcoming ‘Dub Vibrations’ (remixes version) released digitally on March 31st. Nitevibe Dreamteam

Once upon a time in a raveland far far away, there was a little contest where we all voted for a favorite local djs to play at a big county ball attended by the SF royalty of electronic community. Well that time a year is here again and Om Records is repping hard with our favorite local based djs. We need your help to make this years results om-fabulous so we all can get together and celebrate at the Dreamteam event which will be announced soon.
