Underworld announce brand new album ‘Barking’ set for release September 14th 2010 (13th in the UK). ‘Barking’ is the title of Underworld’s first album in three years, and their first to be constructed with a brilliant cast of co-conspirators. All the tracks were written by the band in their Essex studio before being given to handpicked studio heads from across the whole spectrum of dance music to add some of their style and creativity to the band’s raw material. The result is a pimped-up Underworld record and their finest collection of songs in over a decade.
The band officially releases the first new track ‘Scribble’ today (June 8th) exclusively on iTunes. Click Here to Purchase ‘Scribble’ now on iTunes.

What people are saying about the new track:
“Essential Track” – Pete Tong, BBC Radio 1
“World Exclusive Premiere” – Zane Lowe, BBC Radio 1
“Their latest single is pure sun-streaked glory. “Scribble” is almost unrelentingly joyous, and vocalist Karl Hyde knows it too, singing, “And it’s okay/ You give me everything I need.” My thoughts exactly— and considering Underworld’s long-running existence, that’s a blessing for sure.” – Pitchfork
“Pretty melodic track” – Stereogum
“Underworld’s been together for 30 years, so long their original genres have come back into fashion. It’ comforting to know they’re still making relevant, thoughtful dance tracks we still want to bump.” – The Fader
“A gene-splice between Yellow Magic Orchestra and Grooverider blasting out over the dancefloor at Fabric on a Friday night.” – Pop Matters
“Fleet-footed and unashamedly euphoric” – Kev Kharas, RCRDLBL
“Euphoric drum n’bass!” – The Times
