![]() Ursula Xanthe Young is a local Bay Area painter, illustrator, and graphic designer whose specializes in taking people through an urban San Francisco fairy tale. This style has become her trademark. Her fine-lined illustrations and colorful modern paintings exude a style that is unique and appealing to art lovers of all kinds. She finds inspiration in the organic yet urban landscape of San Francisco and its surroundings, and is also highly influenced by her travels and the variety of beings that she encounters along the way. A prolific and diverse artist, her design work can be seen on record covers, clothing, and accessories as well as on two murals in San Francisco’s Mission District. She has also done illustration projects for tattoo artists, custom-made clothing makers, and start-up companies.
