  The Governor’s Ball Music Festival is a one-day music festival on June 18, 2011 set on New York City’s Governors Island. The festival will bring together some of the biggest names in electronic, hip hop, and indie music to celebrate the kick-off of Summer 2011. There will be performances from noon until midnight (no overlapping sets!), as well as other activities, great food, great beer and wine, and great people.
