The first 12" to drop on Deep Concentration Recordings comes from Boston´s MASPYKE. Featuring the production styles of DJ Roddyrod who has laced tracks for such acclaimed artists as Q–Tip, ED.Og, Doug E Fresh, Rasco and Planet Asia, MASPYKE are set to take the world by storm. The opening track "The Played List," is an old–school headnodder that is destined to be this summer´s anti–player anthem. Following it up is the harder edged "Umpire." This one brings a rawer feel, with its rough beats, piano and "double edge triple edge" slicing lyrics. Let the track rip it up, check your clock!
