Afro Mystik

Afro–Mystik is back on the scene with this fantastic new single entitled: "Miracles." First up is the remix from Mallorca’s Kiko Navarro, who has released a slew of original and remix material on such notable labels as Nite Grooves, Underground Collective, Defected, Seamless, Swank and Estereo. One for the deep–house lovers, Kiko’s monster of a mix consists of complex, afro drum programming & percussion, a dirty synth bassline, moody synth stabs and pads, arpeggiated keys, and Omega’s full–vocal. Absolutely gorgeous. Flip over for the DJ Fluid Dub, which takes the track into deep tribal waters. Fluid adds the drum/percussion parts one by one, cuts up the vocal bits and throws them through some nice effects patches, slowly, slowly building the track to a critical mass.. then he breaks it down and introduces a slamming synth bass line, which carries the second–half of the track. Very tough, yet very ethereal. Finally we have the original version: Koki Dapp–Ah. continuing in the Afro–Mystik tradition of afro–heavy house music. What can we say about this one?.. It’s a masterpiece. Play this one in the early morning and those left in the club will simply melt to pieces.
